Rivka Garson joins Source Separation Systems
Source Separation Systems are excited to announce that Rivka Garson is joining our team, as Head of Business Development.
Rivka Garson is well known in the industry, having spent much of her successful career at the forefront of the bioplastics industry. A passionate and active advocate for Australian Certified compostable products, Rivka sits on the Australasian Bioplastics Association’s (ABA) PR Committee and is a member of the Australian Organics Recycling Association (AORA) Victorian Executive team.
Rivka’s experience and expertise, coupled with her passion for organics diversion makes this partnership a unique opportunity to build on Source Separation Systems strength as one of the market leaders in this space.
Source Separation Systems is uniquely positioned to support the industry as FO+GO, and the use of Australian Certified compostable products more generally, continues to expand in Australia. Councils, communities, and businesses alike are all recognising the sustainability benefits of swapping petrochemical plastics for an Australian Certified compostable alternative as Australia’s organics processing capacity continues to expand.
Source Separation Systems was established in 2007, with the seemingly simple mission to provide innovative waste diversion products, designed to connect Australians to a more sustainable future.
The company was one of the first organisations to introduce a bioplastics alternative to the Australian market, and since then Source Separation Systems has partnered with a significant number of communities to roll out FO+GO programs, as well as building a comprehensive range of stockist for their Compost-A-Pak® bags.
The company’s reputation for excellence in the FO+GO space has been underpinned by innovation. In addition to their Australian Certified compostable Compost-A-Pak® range, the team were the first to bring to market a Kitchen Caddy with a unique in-mould label, providing full colour educational information for users. These caddies are made in Australia from up to 100% Post-Consumer recycled content. Supporting their FO+GO offering, the team have also pioneered unique distribution software, which enables councils to audit their resource recovery database during FO+GO rollouts, providing several benefits to councils.
It is anticipated that Rivka’s appointment to such a pivotal role within Source Separation Systems will enable the company to strengthen their relationship with existing customers and further expand the market as Australians continue to embrace Australian Certified Compostable alternatives and Food Organics processing.
