Kitchen-to-Compost Bags

Source Separation Systems are please to introduce The Kitchen-to-Compost 100% biodegradable and 100% compostable bags made from Mater-Bi corn starch polymer which breaks down into carbon dioxide and water.

Features:

• Capture organic waste material at the source and store it without leaking;
• Reduce the presence of pests including fruit flies in the kitchen and external collection system;
• Be easily tied at the top to seal the bag for transfer from the kitchen to the outside collection system;
• Significantly reduce the odour problem in the external collection system, which many residents complain about when trying to divert food waste;
• Full range of sizes from kitchen collector liners to 240 litre MGB;
• Different gauges for effective use in ventilated/solid-sided kitchen collectors and larger collection containers;
• Optional customised printing for Local Government Authorities or Waste Management Contractors to have their logo printed on the bags and packaging to identify the new waste management initiative within the local community and encourage diversion;
• The bright green stripes down both sides of the front and back panels of the bag create a green and opaque striped bag. This unique design allows the bags to be easily differentiated from traditional plastic bags by the collection vehicle internal cameras and also during the sorting and disposal process;
