K2C AIRator

The K2C Airator Kitchen Collector has been specifically designed to work in conjunction with the Kitchen-to-Compost compostable bags. The complete system provides Australian households with an easy to use, environmentally safe product to source separate their kitchen organics.

Features:

• Increases the airflow around the bags allowing the bags to ‘breathe’ which helps to reduce odours in the kitchen;
• Allows the organic material to ‘breathe’ which in turn allows for the moisture to evaporate reducing the volume and weight of the organic material and decrease the amount of leachate present in the bins;
• The three part bin allows the Kitchen-to-Compost bags to fit under the collar of the collector allowing the lid to sit firmly on top of the collar and not be hindered by the bag providing a complete seal at the top to reduce the presence of fruit flies in the kitchen;
• Has a wide opening at the top allowing plates to be scraped directly into the system which makes separating out food waste significantly less troublesome and unpleasant for participants;
• The bins have The Kitchen to Compost™ logo stamped on the top to continually remind participants that the material will be composted and subsequently helping to reduce contamination;
• Provides a high profile area on the lid allowing Local Government Authorities or Waste Management Contractors to have their logo stamped on the lid of the system;
• Achieve all of the above without taking up too much space or having an unsightly presence in the kitchen.
